Winter Schoolyard Investigations To keep watershed learning flowing through the year, the Community Science Project has been experimenting with walking schoolyard investigations. Island City 5th Graders, Cove 7th Graders, and Central 5th Graders have been helping us with this new program. This work is being inspired by our work with Learning in Places. If you are a teacher and want to investigate our watershed from your schoolyard, please reach out! [email protected] Quantitative and Qualitative Data! It's winter, so that means data entry. Most of our water investigations lead to numerical or quantitative data. To explore our quantitative data, check our Data webpage here. This fall we began collecting qualitative data, specifically observations and questions from our Community Scientists. These observations and questions are guiding our future watershed investigations!  This work is being inspired by our work with Learning in Places.
