  • Salmon Watch + Freshwaters Illustrated short videos - This western Oregon focused program is similar to the Grande Ronde Community Science project and has a lot of resources including short “virtual field trip” videos from the Freshwaters Illustrated.

  • Freshwaters Illustrated has full length films and associated lessons including a film on mussels. Contact Carrie for info regarding access.

  • Mussels - Ohio River Foundation - Mussel host activity and Mussel reproduction activity, and Minnesota Zoo Mussel curriculum. These are focused on Midwest mussels but could be adapted for Pacific Northwest Species.

  • Article comparing John Day and Snake River Salmon populations from the Lewiston Tribune.

  • Project WILD, Aquatic WILD, Project Learning Tree, and Project WET all have great lessons that connect to the community science project.
