How might you support Community Science events?

Opportunities include getting youth involved, leading stations, special projects, fundraising,
​indigenous, education and science advisors among others.

Community Science Training Resources
Become a Master Water Steward! 
  • Register w/ Carrie first, then at IDAH20.
  • IDAH20 Master Water Stewards provides us with many of our protocols and data storage.​
  • Step 1 - 3-4 Hour Online / Self Paced IDAH20 training  (total 8 hours online + in person). Click on link to register. Click on "Available" and begin the the Check Out process. You will be prompted to create an account. It might take up to 6 hours to get the link via email to enter the course. Course is free.
  • Step 2 - 4 hour In Person Practicum - This is an opportunity to be trained in our community science monitoring protocols and instructional strategies. ​

Help us Study Crayfish - Online / Self Paced. 
  • Register w/ Carrie first, then at The River Mile. 
  • The Community Science Project partners with and uses  The Crayfish Study's monitoring protocols and database.
