Spring is here!

This spring, we are helping with steelhead dissections, Fish Egg to Fry programs, Oregon Envirothon, and, of course, Watershed Monitoring! We're excited for new partners including the Training and Employment Consortium (TEC) Youth Crew, Rural Engagement & Vitality (REV) Center, OMSI, and Ladd Marsh!

Interested in getting involved?
TRAIN WITH US!

Training details on flyer below.
Upcoming In Person Practicums will be offered
April 20, 9a-1p and June 6, 12-4p.

We had a party!
to CELEBRATE our committed partners and reflect on our accomplishments. Check out the video to see what our first 3 years of community science looked like.

Let's keep the good work FLOWING!

Celebrate Earth Day!
Mark your calendars for
Saturday, April 20 from 9a-1p.
We are teaming up with folks in Cove to monitor our watershed during their Earth Day event at Cove Ascension School.
Stay tuned for more details.

Partner Spotlight!

Greg Poor is one of our original committed Community Science Partners. As the one and only Union Junior and Senior High School science teacher, he manages his tight schedule to get Union students monitoring Catherine Creek in spring and fall. He and his students are doing great things and working hard to investigate our watershed in and out of the classroom! Check out The Observer article to learn how he and his students are raising Coho Salmon in the classroom.

2022 & 2023 watershed data is available!
Check out details for accessing community science data on our data webpage.
